When design becomes reality

L’Atelier du Vin boasts expertise in every aspect of the production process, from concept to final product, by collaborating with designers, engineers, metalworkers, fine woodworkers, and glassblowers to cultivate a distinct and resolutely French savoir-faire.

A business built on family values, tasteful design and loyalty.

L’Atelier du Vin was established by a family from France’s Champagne region with a long history of vineyard ownership. However, it also draws on a passion for architecture and design passed down from generation to generation.

This family-run company values loyalty, with some employees having been part of the team for over 30 years. These principles are evident in the daily operations at our workshops in Northern France, located in a region where traditional craftsmanship and industry come together.

This leads to a new collection of Wine Tools each year that are both functional and visually appealing. The studio not only creates new tools but also improves existing ones.

The Studio’s goal is to combine ergonomics and aesthetics to create tools that are easy to use and pleasing to the eye and touch, as the experience of handling a piece is central to L’Atelier du Vin’s design philosophy.

They believe that a beautiful piece that is poorly designed is not fit for purpose.

Each Wine Tool developed by the Studio embodies the art of enjoying fine wine in the French tradition, with a modern twist on a classic heritage.

Tools crafted from noble materials…

The unique aesthetic associated with L’Atelier du Vin tools is closely tied to the materials used in their construction. These materials are chosen for their beauty, simplicity, and purity, and are crafted to the highest standards of quality.

quote

We bring together a diverse team of craftsmen and women, each with their own expertise in traditional and modern techniques, to design and produce each of our tools. By doing so, we are able to create precise, high-performing and aesthetically pleasing tools that we are excited to share with wine enthusiasts worldwide.
