In addition to using durable materials, L’Atelier du Vin also prioritizes responsible and sustainable production processes to minimize the environmental impact. By doing so, the company aims to provide wine enthusiasts with long-lasting, high-quality tools while also preserving the planet for future generations.
· Most of our solid wood cases and items are sourced from sustainable forests. Our tools are made from a variety of woods such as solid walnut, ebony, maple and birch.
· Our metal items in stainless steel, solid brushed brass or chrome-plated metal are designed to withstand the test of time and the pressure exerted on their mechanisms.
· Our wine glassware is made out of mouth-blown or lead-free high quality glass and produced by master glassmakers whose expertise is passed down from generation to generation. Each craftsman brings their own personal touch, making each of our decanters unique.
· Our Nomad wine tool kit collection is handcrafted and made out of untreated tan leather in Naples workshops.
· Our packaging is also sustainable, made out of high quality recycled materials, such as environmentally-friendly inks and non-petroleum based padding.
L’Atelier du Vin is dedicated to being environmentally responsible, from selecting materials at the design stage to using sustainable packaging, including high-quality recycled materials and eco-friendly inks.
L’Atelier du Vin creates unique wine tools, crafted with precision since 1926. Our design process begins in our Parisian studio where our team of experts in design, engineering, and ergonomics bring each model to life. We use custom-made tools and high-end materials like wood, metal, glass, and genuine leather to create each component. Some models require manual assembly, and our skilled craftsmen have honed their material knowledge over the years. Our collection cases are made with the traditional French master table-making techniques. Personalized models can be laser-engraved by our customization department before being carefully packaged and shipped globally by our delivery partners.
L’Atelier du Vin is the only French company specializing in the creation of wine tools and accessories, offering a comprehensive range of sommelier and oenology services. With a legacy dating back to 1926, we have established ourselves as the French reference in this field, producing top-of-the-line wine accessories and cellars that are unmatched in the world, many of which have been patented and registered. Our collection is a showcase of unique pieces, from the natural wood grain patterns to hand-crafted metal components, that make each item a one-of-a-kind artifact.
L’Atelier du Vin is a family-run business, originating in the Champagne wine region with the goal of designing wine tools for winemakers, wine merchants, sommeliers, wine enthusiasts, and those in the field of oenology. Over the years, we have established ourselves as the leading French manufacturer of wine accessories and corkscrews, boasting a unique know-how passed down from generation to generation. With proprietary ownership and design of each of our patented models, L’Atelier du Vin has become a well-known and respected brand globally, with our collectible items sold in all 5 continents.
