Our Paris Showroom at 80 rue Bonaparte
Make room for a different kind of discovery on your next trip to Paris. At 80 rue Bonaparte, our Paris showroom brings French wine design into focus: seven mirrored glass displays, polished pleated stainless steel, and centuries-old stone. In the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, L’Atelier du Vin invites you to explore the objects that turn opening, serving, and sharing a bottle into a pleasure of their own.
A Left Bank Address with a Story
Step inside from the Left Bank and the pace changes. Old stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and a cellar preserve the quiet character of a neighborhood shaped by history. In the early 1600s, this stretch of today’s rue Bonaparte was known as rue du Pot-de-Fer and housed a Jesuit novitiate, with its chapel next door.
Beneath the vaults, a wine space created by Architecture Intérieure du Vin, our sister brand dedicated to wine cellars and furniture, gives that architectural heritage a contemporary purpose.
The setting offers a close look at what guides our house: an appreciation for materials, an instinct for useful design, and the simple enjoyment of a well-chosen tool. Come with a collector’s eye, a love of interiors, or just a little curiosity.
Wine Accessories in a New Light
Before you cross the threshold, pause at the window. Seven mirrored glass steles frame a conversation between wine tools and light. A sommelier’s corkscrew, a sculptural decanter, a Champagne flute: familiar objects take on a new presence when their proportions and details have room to speak.
Look for the warm finish of Soft Machine Brass, the elevated silhouette of Carafe Perchée Magnum, and the tasting glass L’Exploreur 655 – Aroma Line. The display also brings together blind-tasting bottle covers, Open Cristal Developer, the Oeno Motion Groom, Geometry, Globe, and Oeno Motion Trésor sets, and Bubbles Celebration – La Collection. Together, they offer a glimpse of the many ways design accompanies wine.
Vineyards, Craftsmanship, and Design Since 1926
Vineyards, craftsmanship, and design have shaped L’Atelier du Vin since 1926. At rue Bonaparte, these enduring interests become tangible: vine stocks at the foot of the window displays, burnished stainless steel framing the glass, and wine tools you can hold and consider at your own pace.
A visit is an opportunity to notice what a photograph cannot convey: the balance of a corkscrew, the feel of a handle, the way an object rests in your hand. Our team can help you explore the collection and choose a piece for your own table or a thoughtful gift for a wine lover.
A Paris Discovery to Bring into Everyday Life
A hundred years of ideas find their place here, between the old stone and the reflective surfaces. Discover the story of our family house through objects designed to accompany the bottles, meals, and conversations that matter to you.
Continue exploring when you return home. Our US online store offers corkscrews, wine decanters, and wine gift sets, so a discovery in Paris can become part of your everyday rituals in the United States.
